Baking techniques and skills
Step into the QMC kitchen and build your baking skills with this hands on, creativity fuelled course.
Students will learn essential techniques such as accurate measuring, mixing, shaping, and baking while exploring a range of sweet and savoury recipes. They will experiment with flavours, practise decorating skills and gain confidence working with different tools and ingredients.
Throughout the course, students will develop practical kitchen competence, strengthen fine motor skills, and build creativity, patience and attention to detail. They will also learn about food safety, teamwork, and the satisfaction of sharing their creations with others in a fun and supportive environment.
All ingredients and equipment are provided – just bring your curiosity and appetite to learn.
