Celebrate the Thistle FC 90th Anniversary!Join us in person for an unforgettable weekend as we celebrate 90 incredible years of Thistle FC.
Expect good vibes, great company, football, memories, and plenty of chances to reconnect with past and present Thistle members.
Friday Night
Join us at the Thistle FC Clubrooms, 200 Islington Street, Invercargill, from 5pm till late.
Pick up your event confirmation wristband and Thistle FC 90th Celebration Gift pack.
Division 3 will be playing on the turf at 7pm, so head up and support the team, or stay in the clubrooms, enjoy the hospitality, watch the game live-streamed, and catch up with the Thistle family.
Saturday
The clubrooms open from 9am as we celebrate our junior club with Club Day. There will be junior games on the football grounds, along with sausages, popcorn, candy floss, and plenty of fun for young and old.
After the junior games at Turnbull Thomson Park, our Premier Donald Gray team and Division 2 team kick off at 1pm, followed by Division 1 and the Premier Women at 3pm.
The clubrooms will remain open throughout the afternoon until 6.30pm, before we head to The Newfield Tavern for a buffet meal, speeches, reconnecting, and a night of dancing through until midnight.
Sunday
The clubrooms will open again from 10am, with a coffee cart, brunch BBQ, and fun football activities for all ages before we say our goodbyes.
The BBQ is free for all who have purchased an event ticket/wristband. If you haven't attended our dinner the cost of breakfast is $10.
Let’s come together to celebrate the history, people, and future of Thistle FC.
And if we don’t see you again soon, we’ll see you back in 10 years for the big 100!
