Tricky Chats with Jo RobertsonParents, caregivers and grandparents of children aged 4–18 are invited to join renowned speaker Jo Robertson for an evening of practical, real-world guidance on one of the biggest challenges facing families today.
You'll develop an understanding of the on and offline world kids are navigating, identify potential risks, and leave with strategies you can use straight away.
On the night we'll cover:
The online landscape: why and how young people are using tech
Screen time, gaming and social media
Understanding online risks: porn, exploitation and grooming
Practical strategies: filtering, games and privacy
Counter messages, consent and boundaries
Navigating playdates, sleepovers and family differences
When and how to start — scripts for age-appropriate, shame-free conversations
Jo Robertson is an experienced therapist and researcher with over 17 years of experience working with children, youth and families.
Tickets are $25. Drinks and snacks available to purchase on the night. We encourage both parents or caregivers to attend together.
