About
This unique session is led by Hineatua & Rangihuake Parkinson, cousins both grounded in their practice in tikanga, mātauranga, rongoā Māori, and modern equipment to implement kohukohu tara, alongside other practitioners. We are excited to share teachings in karakia and Te Reo Māori and Taonga Puoro.Originally practiced by tūpuna to clear te ara namunamu, kohukohu tara is beneficial for anyone with a tara and/or kōpū, having been adapted to support a range of ailments, including held trauma, menstrual cycle balancing, and fertility support. This session is intended for those wanting to gain confidence in supporting themselves or whānau and their communities.
