AboutJoin us for one of the highlights of the St Cuthbert’s College performing arts calendar as our talented dance students take to the stage for the annual Dance Showcase 2026.
This year's Showcase celebrates an exceptional year for Dance at St Cuthbert’s College, including our recent success at Showquest, placing 3rd, and our Mega Crew's success placing first in the International Hip-hop Competition; Project. These achievements reflect the strength of our programme and the dedication of our students.
Featuring students from Years 4–13, the Showcase presents an exciting programme of Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Ballet, and original choreographic works. Audiences will experience performances from our co-curricular dance troupes alongside NCEA Dance students, many of whom have choreographed and produced their own works as part of their senior assessments.
A particular highlight of the evening is the opportunity to see student leadership in action. Senior Dance students have taken on roles as choreographers, mentors, rehearsal directors, and creative leaders, guiding younger dancers and contributing to the vibrant dance culture that continues to thrive at St Cuthbert’s College.
