Visionaries and Wunderkinder
About
Risingholme Orchestra will mark its 30th anniversary by presenting the concert “Visionaries and Wunderkinder” at The Piano. This offers compositions by “Visionaries” who either transformed existing musical forms or set out in a new musical direction; and “Wunderkinder” who completed significant works before the age of 20.Richard Strauss’s Horn Concerto No. 1, written when he was 18 and performed in its entirety, forms the central piece in this programme.
