DVI for Radiographers, Hamilton, New Zealand
ABOUT
The ANZ-IAFR is proud to offer the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) course for Radiographers with a practical session in New Zealand for the first time!
This course will provide attendees with knowledge to understand the DVI process, a radiographers role in the multi-disciplinary team and the pros and cons of different imaging equipment in various scenarios.
This is run as a two part course:
1. An online component which MUST be completed at least 48 hours prior to the practical component. The online theory component will take approximately 7 hours to complete and confirmation of completion must be brought to the practical session. Please ensure you allow adequate time to complete the theory component otherwise you will not be able to attend the practical session.
2. The practical component which is a workshop will be held on Saturday 25th February 2023 at Waikato Hospital Radiology Department.
Places are limited to 20 participants (NB: trybooking charges a 30c booking fee).
