Non-Accidental Injury Workshop for Radiographers
ABOUT
The purpose of this course is to provide registrants further education on the medicolegal aspects of non-accidental injuries (NAI) in paediatrics, importance of the radiographic projections required and positioning tips.
The ANZ-IAFR are proud to offer the Non-accidental injury (NAI) course for Radiographers in New Zealand!
This is a two part course.
1. An online component is required to be completed atleast 48 hours prior to the workshop and will take approximately 2-2.5 hours to complete. The certificate of completion must be brought to the practical workshop. The online component will be emailed to you upon registration. Please ensure you give yourself adequate time to complete the theory component! You will not be able to attend the practical without completing the theory!
2. The practical workshop will be held at Waikato Hospital Radiology Department on Sunday 26th February 2023. Please note the workshop is approximately 1.5 hours long. The workshops will be spaced throughout the day, starting at 0800. You must attend 15 minutes prior to the start of your workshop for registration.
The practical workshop allows attendees the opportunity to ask questions about the online content, current imaging guidelines and practice positioning with a lifelike model!
