Rumors is a madcap, door-slamming farce set in the late 1980s. The characters are arriving as guests at a 10th Anniversary Dinner. The first couple to arrive discovers that their host, Charley, has apparently attempted suicide...unsuccessfully. Charley’s wife, Myra, is nowhere to be found and neither are the servants. As more guests arrive, there are cover-ups, deceptions, false identities, and a lot of huge laughs. The cover-ups get progressively more difficult to sustain as the other guests arrive and nobody can remember who has been told what about whom. Lunacy abounds as the couples get more and more crazed - and then the police arrive!Location
