Supporting each other:
- You may need something to write with and something to write on, as well as other supports for yourself e.g. water, snacks, fidgets, a footstool etc.
- You are welcome to do things that support your learning, e.g. use fidgets, move around, keep your camera off etc.
- If you don’t want to ask a question out loud, please use the chat box. I will have a support person to monitor the chat box for me so I can stay focused on presenting.
- To support my focus please keep your microphone muted during the presentation. I will stop for questions and a break halfway through, you are welcome to unmute then or use the chat box. If you feel comfortable having your camera on, I find it useful to have the real time feedback of people's faces.
- Please respect different people’s lived experience and identities. Everyone will be at a different point in their learning.
- The handout will be emailed to you ahead of time along with a link to a Google drive of resources. Please do not copy, share or re-sell workshop materials created by me. Many of the resources in the Google drive are freely available and can be shared.
- The presentation will be recorded and a link to the recording sent out to you after the live sessions.
- There will be some practical activities that ask you to reflect on your practice. We may try some breakout room discussions depending on timing. It is ok to not join a breakout room.
- Please maintain confidentiality and respect privacy when sharing examples and do not use any identifying details.
- If you are no longer able to attend please let me know with as much notice as possible. Refunds are possible if notice is given 48 hours before the event.
