This event is a 9 km walk in an exposed natural environment. By using this ticket, you declare that you have good fitness, strong ankles and good footwear, and that you are aware of the risks, including hypothermia from exposure to inclement weather, injury from falls on uneven surfaces, and death from tsunami in the unlikely event of a large earthquake close to Nelson.

Access to the Lighthouse is limited to those with tickets that say "Lighthouse included", and time inside is limited to 4 minutes. This is necessary due to limited space and capacity. No children under 6 will be allowed in the lighthouse.

No Dogs. No Alcohol.

Please arrive at the bus departure point outside The Styx restaurant at least 10 minutes prior to departure.

Refunds available in case of postponement or cancellation, or you can donate the ticket cost to Coastguard and Rotary charities.

Bring with you: Your printed ticket, good footwear, hat, wind/rain parka, sunscreen, water bottle, cellphone, lunch and/or snacks, bag for collecting rubbish.

Rotary will provide: Bus and boat transport, water and emergency support. You must notify Rotary in advance if you intend to get your own transport to the start of the walk at the end of Boulder Bank Drive.

Parking on Wakefield Quay is limited (P120 enforced in carpark). Get dropped off or arrive early to walk from your parking spot.
