You may modify/cancel your registration through the Eventbrite website up to 4 business days prior to the workshop. Cancellations attract an administration fee of 10%. Alternatively, a substitute attendee can attend provided the name of the substitute is emailed to office@minex.org.nz.

If you are unable to attend due to Covid related travel restrictions, you may be entitled to a full refund, this will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

There will be no refund for any cancellations made within 4 business days of the workshop or a no show on the day.

MinEx reserves the right to change the venue, date, or cancel the event due to unexpected circumstances. Should a cancellation on the part of MinEx occur, all registration fees will be deferred or refunded, and necessary parties advised of the change.

MinEx collects personal information from you, including information about your:

• Name
• Place of work
• Contact information
• Billing or purchase information
• CoC status

MinEx collects your personal information in order to keep you informed on health and safety in the quarry and mining industry, via newsletters and safety alerts etc.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter some information, we may be unable to keep you informed.

• From time to time, we may take photos of the workshop for promotional use in our newsletters and safety alerts. By accepting the terms and conditions, you agree that pictures of you or people you have registered on behalf of, can be used to promote our MinEx Workshops.
You have the right to request, in writing, that MinEx stop using your photos.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at office@minex.org.nz, or P O Box 10-668, Wellington 6140.
