By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending *Mela Teeyan Da 2026* (the “Event”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticketing and Refund Policy
1.1 All tickets are **non-refundable and non-transferable**, except where required under New Zealand consumer law or in the event of cancellation of the Event by the organisers.
1.2 Tickets must be presented for entry in a valid format (digital or printed as accepted by the ticketing platform).
1.3 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry where valid ticketing conditions are not met.
2. Admission and Entry Conditions
2.1 The Event is designated as a women-only event, and entry is strictly limited to individuals who identify as female, as intended by the cultural purpose of the Event.
2.2 Children under the age of 12 years are admitted free of charge, provided they are accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
2.3 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual at their sole discretion, including where entry conditions are not satisfied.
3. Alcohol, Drugs, and Intoxication
3.1 The Event is a strictly alcohol-free and drug-free event.
3.2 The possession, use, or distribution of alcohol or illicit drugs at the Event is strictly prohibited.
3.3 Any person found to be intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry or removed from the Event premises without refund.
3.4 The organisers reserve the right to conduct reasonable checks where necessary to ensure compliance with this clause.
4. Conduct and Behaviour
4.1 Attendees are required to behave in a respectful and lawful manner at all times during the Event.
4.2 Inappropriate, abusive, disruptive, discriminatory, or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.
4.3 The organisers reserve the right to remove any person from the Event premises without refund if, in their reasonable opinion, such conduct compromises the safety, enjoyment, or wellbeing of others.
5. Health, Safety, and Venue Compliance
5.1 All attendees must comply with instructions given by Event organisers, security personnel, and venue staff at all times.
5.2 The organisers reserve the right to implement security checks or safety procedures as deemed necessary to ensure the safety of attendees.
5.3 Attendees must comply with all applicable venue rules and New Zealand laws.
6. Photography, Filming, and Media
6.1 Photography, video recording, and audio recording may take place during the Event.
6.2 By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded, and to such material being used for promotional, social media, and marketing purposes by the organisers.
6.3 If you do not wish to appear in photographs or media content, you must notify the Event organisers upon arrival, and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your request.
7. Liability
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the organisers, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm sustained at or in connection with the Event.
7.2 Attendance is at your own risk.
8. Amendments and Cancellation
8.1 The organisers reserve the right to amend the Event programme, timing, or venue where necessary.
8.2 In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via the ticketing platform, and refunds will be issued in accordance with the platform’s refund policy and applicable law.
