We are thrilled that the second lecture will take place in the Boys’ Division Great Hall on Wednesday 7 May 2024 with Old Girl, Alisha Whitehead (née Patel, Class of 2011) acting as the keynote speaker.After leaving School in 2011, Alisha gained her first degree in Psychology and went on to complete a Masters of Science in Clinical Neurology at The University of Sheffield. She went on to work in the NHS delivering clinical trials to patients affected by neurological diseases, this saw her progress into research trial management. Alisha’s current role allowed her to become the centre manager for a new brain research centre spanning Greater Manchester. The centre looks to rapidly facilitate bench to bedside clinical trials, and have a direct impact on patient care and patient pathways, for those living with neurological disorders.
