What could be better than spending a late spring evening in one of Cumbria’s finest country gardens?LA23NET has landed an invite to Holker Hall & Gardens - and we’re over the bloomin’ moon.
If we’re lucky, there might even be a bit of spring sunshine.
On Thursday, 16th May, we’re taking over the grounds of this stunning estate for a night of nature, networking and - of course - a scrumptious spread of locally sourced food.
Holker’s iconic cascade has recently undergone a stunning £250,000 restoration and our guest of honour, head gardener Matthew Murgatroyd, will be on hand to tell us more.
Matthew is a former gardener at Highgrove, the private residence of King Charles. He will share his insights into the history and design of the expansive grounds, taking us on a special tour to see the gardens in full bloom.
Our night begins in the 18th century converted stable courtyard, with delicious food, drinks and a chance to network, before after-hours access to Holker Hall’s grounds.
