The Cumbria Local Nature Recovery Strategy team are hosting a series of workshops to shortlist and draft the measures (actions) for the strategy. This workshop in particular is for those who are passionate about nature recovery in the North Pennines, Border Moors and Tynes Gap and wish to share their thoughts on what we could do for biodiversity in this area.This event follows from the workshops held in March where we looked at what the priorities may be for nature in Cumbria. However, these measure workshops will instead focus on National Character Areas to allow for more landscape-scale, strategic thinking.
Please be aware that there are four other events organised for the other groups of National Character Areas, which may be of interest. You are welcome to come to as many workshops as you wish but please book beforehand through TryBooking.
