'Treasure Island' is a classic adventure novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson, first published as a book in 1883. The story follows young Jim Hawkins, who discovers a treasure map in a pirate's chest and embarks on a thrilling journey to find the buried treasure. Along the way, Jim encounters an interesting cast of characters, including the enigmatic Long John Silver, a charismatic yet deceitful pirate who becomes both friend and foe. As Jim and his companions set sail for Treasure Island, they face treacherous seas, mutiny, and the dangers of a hidden treasure guarded by greed and betrayal. Filled with swashbuckling action, suspense, and themes of loyalty and courage, Treasure Island remains a beloved tale of adventure and discovery. This year for the first time, the Summer Production will be performed by Year Seven and Eight pupils.Doors open at 6.00pm. Curtains up at 6.30pm.
