Introduction to Ecoprinting with Kim Macormack
In This Full Day workshop Kim will introduce participants to ecoprinting onto paper and wool and silk fabrics. Ecoprinting is sometimes known as Botanical printing is a method which entails gathering specific types of leaves which are laid directly onto paper or fabric to gain an imprint from the reactions of the tannins in the leaves. Participants will leave with paper samples, fabric samples and a printed wool scarf measuring 170cm x 25 cm. Participants will also take away extensive notes on continuing the process successfully at home.
