Art of our Ancestors
These hands on workshops will enable participants to experiment with block printing techniques while exploring the art of our ancestors. You will create your own unique designs for printing based on real carvings found on Pictish standing stones, ancient Viking artefacts and Celtic symbols. There will be lots of time to experiment with mark making and colour as well as the most fun part which is rolling the ink and using pressure to create vibrant prints.
