Seaford Choral Society Concert - GLORIA
About
Come and join us for an exciting mix of 20th century Christmas music and traditional carols led by the inspirational Veronica Fewkes and accompanied by a professional brass octet, percussionists, and our own John Eady on the St Leonard's organ. It's going to be spectacular! The choir will perform Gloria by John Rutter (composed in 1974), A Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten (1942) and, delving back to the 16th century, Hodie Christus Natus Est by Giovanni Gabrieli.
The now well established SCS Chamber Choir will sing O Magnum Mysterium (Lauridsen), Adam Lay Ybounden (Ord), Blow, Blow Thou Winter Wind (Purifoy) and O Radiant Dawn (MacMillan).
Making the most of our musicians, the audience carols will be accompanied by the brass octet and organ so make sure you come in good voice.
Please note the earlier start time of 5pm. Adult tickets are £15. U18 tickets are free on this site but we'd welcome a donation on the door.
We look forward to welcoming you and thank you for your support.
