Are you excited about growing organic food that’s good for people and the planet?Want to be part of building a better food system in North Lancashire?
Come and learn about our part-time FarmStart course which runs March - October 2025.
This open evening is for anyone with an interest in joining the FarmStart programme, in 2025, or future years, and will be a chance to find out:
- What is covered in the programme - the curriculum, trips, and training sessions.
- The structure of the course over the season, from March to October.
- How the logistics and finance work, including your commitment as a FarmStarter and our bursary scheme.
- What other FarmStarters have done after the FarmStart course.
- The context and wider strategy that this programme and project are part of.
This programme is aimed at people who live in North Lancashire who would like to play an active role in setting up new food-growing enterprises around North Lancashire.
