About

Founded in 1382, Winchester College is one of the oldest schools in the country. It still occupies its original medieval buildings, making it a remarkable architectural time capsule featuring 650 years of continuous history.

Tours of the College’s original 14th-century campus run twice daily, focusing on the school’s history and medieval architecture. Highlights of the tour usually include the College's medieval Chamber Court, the 14th-century Gothic chapel, College Hall, the medieval Cloisters and the 17th-century redbrick schoolroom.

College tours last for one hour and run every afternoon at 2.15pm and 3.30pm. Please note that these are our public tour times; for private tours, we offer a range of times throughout the day. If you would like to make a private tour booking, please contact our Tours Coordinator.

Accessibility:
