Prof. Robin Banerjee, a developmental psychologist at the University of Sussex, researches young people's social-emotional growth. He leads the Kindness Centre, co-ran the BBC's Kindness Test, and advises Empathy Lab on empathy and reading in schools.How can fiction help children become more empathetic, kind, and connected? In this thought-provoking session, Professor Robin Banerjee explores the powerful link between storytelling and the development of empathy and prosocial behaviour in children and young people.
