Accessible Walk: Aysgarth Falls

About
Jonathan Smith of Where2Walk and Yorkshire Dales disability access charity Access the Dales will lead a 4 mile circular walk exploring a short stretch of the River Ure and its waterfalls. Starting and finishing at Aysgarth Falls, this leisurely paced, stile free route is suitable for most electric wheelchairs. The walk is also suitable for those who want to walk over less arduous terrain with time to chat and socialise.
The Access the Dales hub located at the National Park Centre is able to loan two Trampers — all-terrain wheelchairs, for those requiring assistance. (A brief tutorial of how to use them will be provided).
The meeting point for this walk is also accessible by Dalesbus 156 service which runs between Gayle and Leyburn.
NB. If you require a Tramper this needs to be booked in addition to booking your walk place at: www.access-the-dales.com/aysgarth-falls-hub
*Please add a note to the wheelchair booking to confirm you have secured a place on the walk.
