Wiltshire Federation of WIs is pleased to announce the two speakers arranged for the annual meeting 2025. The morning will welcome Professor Andy Kempe, Emeritus Professor of Drama Education at the University of Reading who has written drama activity books about Evacuees and The Great Bath Road.He will talk on Greenham Common with focus on the women’s peace camp and campaigning.
In the afternoon Moira Cameron, the first female Yeoman Warder (Beefeater) at the Tower of London, who has had a distinguished 22-year military career before joining the Tower in 2007. Her appointment symbolized progress and inclusivity, though she did face challenges.
