Guildford to Dorking along the North Downs Way

About
Walk the chalk with DG Outdoor Adventures
Join North Downs Way Ambassador, Pete Lambert for this fantastic challenge to hike the most beautiful and historic part of the North Downs Way from Guildford to Dorking.
This 14 mile yomp will start at Guildford railway station and eventually join the Surrey Hills chalk ridge and hit the hills of the Chantries, St. Martha's and Newland's Corner, walking above Gomshall, Shere and Denbies Vineyard before dropping down to our final destination of Dorking for a well earned drink and then the train home unless you have organised a prior lift.
Bring with you good walking shoes/boots and plenty of food and water.
There will be a designated loo break at Newlands Corner and a chance to get a cold drink.
The walk will commence at 9:30am sharp from Guildford train station so do make sure you are there beforehand.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but need to be kept on a lead in certain areas and do keep in mind the day is possibly going to be very warm and also very long.
This walk is fully guided by trained walk leaders who are fully insured and have a full outdoor first aid qualification.
Feel free to do the hike for a chosen charity and please feel free to post up photos and tag us in..
DG Outdoor Adventure will take photos along the way for social media and website use. If you do not want to be in the photos please do let us know beforehand.
