Would you know what to do in an emergency?
This CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and Defibrillator Awareness training is delivered by a volunteer from East Midlands Ambulance Service. It introduces the basic concepts and aims to increase your confidence and ability to respond should you ever find yourself trying to help someone who is experiencing a cardiac arrest (heart attack)
If you has done this before you are still very welcome attend. This session is as much a refresher as it is to learn something new.
We will cover:
Recognition of someone in or leading to Cardiac Arrest.
How to assess a person suspected to be in Cardiac Arrest.
Steps, Discussions and practical exercises on CPR and use of AED's.
Opportunities to ask questions from a trained professional.
Myth Busting and Statistics.
