Field to Fork: Broad Beans & Green Onions (Evening)

Join us at the farm for a hands-on evening celebration of our fresh, homegrown flavours as we showcase seasonal staples of your vegetable box! This month, we’ll be discovering delicious ways to prepare and cook broad beans and green onions. Together we’ll take a walk over to the field where the broad beans are being grown. You’ll learn how they are being grown and get the chance to harvest some pods. We’ll then cook four different dishes that put broad beans and green onions in centre stage. Most importantly, we’ll then enjoy and eat this nutritious meal together.This is a new form of event where we showcase the versatility of our seasonal vegetables. Hopefully, you’ll leave with the inspiration to cook a seasonal staple of your vegetable box in new ways. We will demonstrate how these fresh ingredients can shine as the true stars of a meal.
