Hello Summer!
The Eastwood Collieries' Male Voice Choir presents a summer afternoon concert of singing in St Mary's Church, Eastwood, with special guests, 'ECS Singers' and 'Kirkby Chorus'. This event will demonstrate the joy of singing and performing and may well encourage audience members to seriously consider the health and well-being benefits of singing in a group.
Kirkby Chorus was established in June 2021, near the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, to help combat the isolation many felt during lockdown. They are a community choir passionate about singing and fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment. Open to all ages and backgrounds, they focus on fun, community engagement, and learning songs and harmonies.
ECS Singers are a community choir formed nine years ago under the organisation of 'Everyone can sing'. They enjoy making a contribution to their local community and collaborate more widely with other choirs.
