Showcoach invites to Leeds Castle Maidstone Kent

Come and join us on a trip to see the famous Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, on Friday 5th September
On arrival we will be free to explore the Castle and grounds. We can also visit the Falconry and Birds of Prey centre amongst other attractions.
The castle is on an island in the middle of a lake formed by the River Len. A castle has existed on the Grade I listed estate site since 857 AD. In 13th century it became a favourite residence of Edward 1st and in the 16th Henry VIII used it as a dwelling for Catherine of Aragon. Present castle dates from early 19th Century. Its last private owner, Olivia,Lady Baillie, left it in trust to be opened to the the public.
Complimentary mobility buses will be available from the Visitors Centre to within a few minutes walk of the Castle. There are plenty of refreshment areas throughout ( none are included in the entry price).
Cost is £52 which includes admission fee and coach from the 3 usual pick up points.
