How to Measure a Carbon Footprint has been designed to support organisations in identifying their emissions and measuring a simple carbon footprint.
It is being offered as a Pilot to members of Museum Development North only at this stage.
This 2-hour online trainer led session covers the following:-

Identify your organisations (activities that create) emissions and organise them into scopes

Calculate your organisations carbon footprint using information about emissions usage and online tools

Know where to find resources, signposting, and support
By the end of the workshop, learners will have a clear plan of how to gather the information they need and calculate a simple carbon footprint.
ATTENDEES

Must work or volunteer for a museum which is a member of Museum Development North

Must be the only representative from your organisation to attend (if multiple members of your team would like to be trained please contact us directly)

Will work or volunteer for an organisation based in England (due to funding restrictions)

Are expected to have a Carbon Literacy level knowledge of climate change before attending this workshop
This training is a starting point for organisations who want to work towards following the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol principles. It is not designed for organisations who need to report their emissions to the government.
