Wild Food and Wild Medicine Urban Foraging Walk

Come and discover the edible and medicinal uses of common wild plants growing right under your feet.Foraging for food and medicine offers a wealth of opportunities to connect with the wild side of nature.
You will learn ways of identifying plants, about their properties and how best to prepare them, as well as some historical uses and folklore.
This walk is up to 2 hours. We are likely to cover less than 2 miles but there will be some uneven terrain.
Please wear suitable footwear and come prepared to walk whatever the weather, including full sun or heavy rain.
Suitable for beginners and those with some foraging experience.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This walk will be led by Julia Russell, local herbalist and member of the Association of Master Herbalists, who has 25 years experience of leading foraging walks.
