I come from a family of artists. For a long time the women have been overshadowed by themen. I am here to pull back the curtain and let them step into the light.
This talk will celebrate those you know and introduce those you don’t, so that they begin to
get the recognition they really deserve. Their stories are inspiring and their voices clear.
Expect glorious pictures and tales of strong, undaunted women, together with a family tree
that will help you see how they connect.
What has been most fascinating for me in this research has been the support, inspiration
and courage of these artists stretching from my great grandmother to the new generation
already making their mark.
