Secret Art Auction has continued to prove popular with artists and buyers over the last nine years. More than 2,700 artworks have been donated by local artists, art students, Royal Academicians and celebrities including Dame Tracey Emin CBE RA, Sir Richard Long CBE RA, Ken Howard OBE RA, Sir Quentin Blake CH CBE FCSD FRSL RDI, Sir Frank Bowling OBE RA, David Nash OBE RA, Alan Stanton OBE RA, Norman Ackroyd CBE RA, Ian Ritchie CBE RA, Diana Armfield RA RWA MSIA, Peter Randall-Page RA, John Wragg RA, Alison Wilding OBE RA, Piers Gough CBE RA, Richard Wilson RA, Vanessa Jackson RA, Mick Rooney RA, Katherine Jones RA, Julian Opie, Rob and Nick Carter, Roger McGough CBE FRSL, Axel Scheffler, Dr. Janette Kerr RSA HON PPRWA, Gordon Buchanan MBE, Dame Emma Thompson DBE, David Harsent, Julian Clary, Deborah Meaden and many more.
With their support, we have raised more than £100,000 since this fundraiser began, every penny of which has sustained our charitable work in the local area.
All donated, unique artworks will be auctioned anonymously online from just £35 each. This enables buyers to purchase art they like whilst offering them the chance to purchase a work by a renowned artist or celebrity. Only when the art is sold is the name of the artist revealed.

Join the Secret Art Auction this September, grab yourself a masterpiece and most importantly, help Habitats & Heritage to protect and preserve the natural and historic heritage in south and west London. Your purchase might just create new habitats and join up the green corridor to better support our vital biodiversity. Or, give a young person the opportunity to meaningfully interact with nature. Or maybe it will support vital energy efficiency and climate projects or protect your favourite local heritage asset. Each purchase can make a huge difference so thank you so much for taking part!
Please note:
- All artworks are A5 size (unless stated otherwise), unframed and signed on the back.
- Bids start from £35.
- Each bid must be at least £1 more than the previous bid.
- The auction ends on Saturday 4th October at 10pm.
- All contributing artists will be revealed against the picture of their art on Habitats & Heritage website after the event.
