Edge Hill Players is excited to bring you ANNIE - with equal measures of pluck and positivity, Annie charms everyone’s hearts in her escape from an orphanage to the wondrous world of 1930s New York. She is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage that is run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Along the way, she even befriends President Roosevelt and finds a home and family with the billionaire Oliver Warbucks for herself and lovable dog Sandy.Annie is a worldwide phenomenon and winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The score features some of the best well-known musical theatre hits ever written, from the unforgettable 'It’s the Hard-Knock Life' and 'Easy Street' to the anthem of optimism, 'Tomorrow'.
