This September, we’re heading out on a beautiful circular walk exploring the fascinating Neolithic landscape north west of Avebury. Our approx. 4-mile route takes in the ancient Windmill Hill with its breathtaking views, before looping back down into Avebury Trusloe. Along the way, we’ll pass 'Adam' and 'Eve'—the only surviving long stones of what’s believed to be a prehistoric stone avenue.After the walk, why not stick around for a drink or a bite to eat? Avebury has a pub and two lovely cafés—perfect for a post-walk catch-up as we celebrate our last Federation walk of the year.
Everyone’s welcome including well behaved dogs on leads! Whether you're a Federation member or not, come along and enjoy the fresh air, the company, and the history.
