About
Former Directors of Music, Steve Abbott and Chris Fay are running a fun and exhilarating Old Wordsworthian (OW) Singing Day at Bishop Wordsworth’s and Salisbury Cathedral. Past members of the BWS Choir and other OWs are warmly invited to take part.The day will include rehearsals, School tours, lunch, a performance from the current BWS Choir and the final session will be an informal concert - a chance to sing again in your cathedral!
The day promises to be a relaxed yet rewarding experience, with just the right amount of musical challenge. The repertoire will include some familiar pieces: selections from Tallis, a spiritual or two, Beach Boys classics, and your favourite pre-rehearsal warm-up exercise!
The cost of the full day for singers, to include refreshments and lunch, will be £25.00.
Friends and family who would like to attend the Cathedral concert, at 15:20pm in the North Transept, are kindly requested to donate £5, with all proceeds going to BWS.
