Pitch Training
About
Whether you’re an experienced presenter or a tiny bit terrified of speaking to a room full of people, our pitch training session is designed to help share your passion for your project and persuade people to support you.
Our Pitch Training sessions will help you bring out the key aspects of your project that will resonate with your audience. It’s also a great opportunity to make connections with other projects who may also be pitching.
The session is held at Community Base, at 10:30 am on the Saturday morning, two weeks prior to the event. Most of our events take place at Community Base, so you will also get a good idea of the space where you will pitch.
The 2 hour session gives everyone the opportunity to develop, structure and practise their pitch, receive feedback and helpful suggestions. Discover what works, what would be even better ‘if’ – and get hints and tips on how to present effectively – including how to manage any nerves! Just bring a rough idea of what you want to say, and we will help you to do the rest.
Delivered by trustee, Debbie Manship, the session is focussed on helping you to prepare a clear, compelling, and confident BrightonSoup pitch. Designed for first-time pitchers as well as those with pitching experience.
