Bringing Death to Life
Experience a powerful new monologue devised and performed at the Green Burial by the artistic director of the Theatre of the 7 Directions, Laura Pasetti and organised by the Findhorn Hinterland Trust. In this 25-minute promenade, follow the journey of a body beyond death: from corpse, to compost, to small plant, and finally, a mature tree. At each stop, you’ll hear intimate reflections on transformation: life in death, and death in life.
Travel with the storyteller as she emerges from the grave: “I am not gone; I am changing. I become something else.”
This immersive experience invites us all to reflect on life’s continuous cycle and reimagine what it means to “return to the earth.” Join us as we bring death to life, and celebrate the beauty of becoming part of nature’s endless renewal.
