If you're interested in volunteering at the Animal Farm, this is your opportunity to get involved. We get a lot of applications and we can only take on a couple of volunteers each year due to the time it takes our staff to train and supervise new volunteers.We are holding trial mornings from 8am - 11.30am on the 27th and 28th September and if you want to volunteer with us we'd like you to book onto one of these.
You'll get to spend a morning at the farm, see behind the scenes and learn about the jobs we do to keep the animals in the best condition possible. It's a chance for you to see if this kind of work is for you as well as a chance for us to see you working with other volunteers and staff members and see how you interact with the public as we are open every day from 10am - 4pm.
If you can't make either of these dates or they're booked up don't worry, we'll provide some additional dates in October after the first sessions.
