Kew Road Ha-ha volunteering day

About
Join us on Saturday 27th September to tidy and manage the Kew Road Ha-ha.The long corridor of green has served nature well over the spring and summer. Flowers for pollinators, banks of nettles and brambles for caterpillars to feed on, and a safe route connecting areas of greenspace for mammals and amphibians.
Now, at the start of autumn we can get back in to tidy away some of the litter that has blown in and cut back some of the resprouting trees. We also hope to prepare some ground to sow some wildflowers later in the year.
So come and join the merry bunch of volunteers. Enjoy good chat and some outside exercise. You won't find a more wholesome start to your Saturday!
Accessibility and toilets: We will be able to use the Old Deer Park Sports Ground toilets. The Ha-ha site has steep banks and is difficult to get down into. Volunteers with restricted mobility could litter pick from the pavement and do some pruning from this location also.
