About
The Primary Music Network meetings are an opportunity for Primary Music Co-ordinators and all teachers involved in delivering the music curriculum to keep up to date with local and national initiatives and events in music education. We share ideas for songs, warm-ups and musical activities as well as useful curriculum support documents, and provide advice and support to help you to develop your music curriculum and your co-curricular offer.
All sessions will be led by highly skilled music specialists and classroom practitioners from Bolton and Blackburn with Darwen Music Service and our partners. The sessions are suitable for all classroom teachers, regardless of knowledge or experience.
Dates for this year:
Autumn term - 1st October 2025 - St Matthew's CofE Primary School
Spring term - 21st January 2026 - St Peter’s C of E Primary School, Turncroft Rd, Darwen BB3 2BW.
Summer term - 6th May 2026 - Venue tbc
