Come along for another of our volunteer-led take on 'Ted Talks' - 'The Power of Composting' with Diana McIntyre - especially for our Big Green Day!
Composting is transformative. Turning unwanted and inedible food scraps, garden materials and compost into a powerful material for healthy soils, plants, food and us. The expert hour will range from discovering the microbiology and other creatures busy doing the transforming, the ecological impact of composting, local compost initiatives, and ways to join the composting revolution.

Diana is an enthusiastic composter, with a background in community development, training and horticulture and coordinates the community composting workstream of the Closing Loops Project, part of FoodFutures.
