This Masterclass is with Sam Dowsing from the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse AuthorityProtecting workers from exploitation requires awareness, vigilance and collaboration. You'll find out how the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority operates, how to spot exploitative practices throughout your supply chain, and delve into real world examples of labour abuses. You'll leave empowered to become an active agent in preventing exploitation and promoting ethical labour practices.
This is a free event for SMEs run by the Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business, as part of their Transforming Tomorrow Masterclass Series.

- The room is on the ground floor, wheelchair accessible and has an induction loop. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet nearby.
- Accessible parking - there are 3 disabled parking bays at the top of Gillow Avenue (next to the West Pavilion).

- In order to comply with data protection regulations and the need to request permissions from participants, the use of recording devices or AI virtual assistants is not allowed – anyone found using one will be asked to leave.

Getting to us
We encourage you to take public transport where possible. Car parking is available, and the University has an ANPR system. On booking you will be asked for your registration number, and will use this to waive parking fees, although cannot guarantee you will not be charged.
