Please join us for our January speaker lunch at The Caversham Golf Club, Mapledurham.

Doors will open at 11:15 to enable purchase of drinks, enjoy the views and buy raffle tickets. Lunch will be served at 12:00 followed by the talk at approximately 13:00.

Our guest speaker will be Professor Coral Dando - 'The Truth Illusion: The Psychology of Deception Detection'

Coral is Professor of Psychology at University of Westminster. Having trained and worked as a Police Officer, Coral returned to education where she obtained a BSc in Psychology and then a PhD in Applied Forensic Cognition. She is Course Director for the Forensic Psychology MSc. She teaches Psychology of Interviewing to professionals from various Police Forces, UK and US security and investigation agencies. She holds many research grants and publishes widely.

A two course lunch, including tea and coffee, will be provided at a cost of £32.

Mains:
- Pan-fried free-range chicken breast, sauteed baby leeks & carrots, pomme puree & wild mushroom sauce
- Slow roasted pork belly, sage & lemon colcannon potatoes, roasted carrot & cider jus
- Grilled salmon supreme, tenderstem broccoli, slow roasted vine tomatoes, herby new potatoes & pesto beurre blanc
- Wild mushroom, spinach, petit pois risotto, parmesan & truffle dressing

Desserts:
- Tiramisu sundae
- Apple, sultana, cinnamon, orange crumble & vanilla custard
- Classic vanilla creme brulee & vanilla shortbread
