About
Relationships Matter: Supporting Social & Emotional Development in ChildmindingChildminder Conference 2026
Join us for an inspiring day of learning, reflection, and connection focused on the vital role relationships play in early childhood development. Our Childminder Conference explores how strong, supportive relationships and peer-to-peer learning can shape children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
Our keynote speaker, Jacqui Lewis, will open the day with “Harnessing Peer Power: Supporting Children’s Social & Emotional Development.” Drawing on social learning theory and real-life practice, Jacqui will invite childminders to think differently about their unique role in nurturing empathy, confidence, and connection between children.
Following the keynote, participants will take part in interactive workshops offering practical ideas, reflection, and opportunities to share experiences with fellow childminders. Together, we’ll explore how to create emotionally rich, connected environments where children learn and grow side by side.
Come away inspired, refreshed, and equipped with new insights to support social and emotional development within your childminding practice.
