The Lost Treasures of Tipperley (by the Juniors)
About
The Lost Treasures of Tipperley is an original play written by Kane Murray and performed by Theatre on Foot's youngest actors - the crazy Juniors!Get ready for an afternoon of laughter, adventure, and pure joy as Theatre on Foot’s youngest actors - our wonderfully wacky Juniors - take to the stage in their original play, The Lost Treasures of Tipperley.
For many of these young performers, this marks their very first time stepping into the spotlight on a real theatre stage. So, prepare your cheers, whistles, and standing ovations because it’s time to celebrate their hard work, boost their confidence, and give them the most unforgettable experience imaginable.
The story begins long, long ago… in what we think might be Victorian England! Two neighbouring villages - the proud Tipperley and the mischievous Friedbottom - are locked in a fierce battle for the title of Village of the Year. When Friedbottom’s scheming residents trick the Tipperley folk into burying their gold and jewels for safekeeping, disaster, and confusion, soon follow. Fast forward 111 years to the 1990s. Blur and rule the airwaves, and the descendants of those rival villagers accidentally dig up the lost treasure in the cowpat potato field that divides them. Before long, the age-old rivalry is reignited in spectacular style.
Will peace ever return to Tipperley and Friedbottom? Why do so many cows insist on pooing in the potato field? And can Princess Anne finally be convinced to stay for a cup of tea? There’s only one way to find out! Come and watch The Lost Treasures of Tipperley on Sunday 7th December.
