AI & Gender Conference - young person's registration
About
Join us as we celebrate Safer Internet Day 2026 and explore Artificial Intelligence’s gendered side. If you would like to learn more about AI, it’s impacts, and how it can be used safely and responsibly, then this conference is for you! With a jam-packed agenda and an amazing set of guests, you will leave with a better understanding of why it is important to talk about gender in relation to AI and how this relates to your life as a young person in Scotland. It’s a chance to network with your peers, hear from experts and have your voice heard in discussions about building a safer online world.
We welcome young people aged 16+ to attend this in-person event, taking place in Edinburgh on the 14th of February 2026.
Our AI & Gender Conference has been co-designed by a group of young women from across Scotland and staff from The Young Women’s Movement. The event builds on the work of Young Women Lead AI programme participants, who launched their online guidance and resource library in August 2025: https://youngwomenscot.org/guide-to-ai/.
There is a small budget available for those who need it most to support their attendance. Please email elena@youngwomenscot.org if you require financial support.
