About
An important history of protest movements around the world, following renowned photographer Missan Harriman as he chronicles struggles such as those of Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ+ rights and the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa. Harriman skilfully shows the importance of nurturing the seeds of protest by capturing the people's unyielding resilience and care for both themselves and the planet. Curated by Black Ark Media, this thought-provoking film questions the notion of protest movements as a viable source of agency in a world that appears to disregard human rights and international law.
