We are excited to invite Bolton School Alumni to the inaugural Bolton School Northern Dinner, to be held at the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester on Friday the 15th May 2026.

Join us to enjoy a drinks reception from 6.45pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm.

We will meet in the Revolution Manchester Gallery, a space that encapsulates the city’s history of innovation and offers a unique look into the museum’s themes, galleries and collections. Showcasing the cities rich legacy of world-changing innovations and scientific discoveries, this distinctive and truly remarkable setting will be transformed for the evening, allowing guests to dine amongst fascinating exhibits such as a replica of the Small Scale Experimental Machine, nicknamed ‘Baby’, the world’s first stored-program computer.

TICKETS: £80 (£50 FOR UNDERGRADUATES AND ALUMNI UNDER 25) FOR A THREE-COURSE DINNER WITH WINE AND COFFEE.
The undergraduate and under 25's ticket price has been further discounted thanks to the generosity of the Beaumont Hospital.

Please note it is possible to book tables of 10. However, if you wish to book a mixed table of young (U25) and older Alumni, you would need to book individual tickets and add the names of those you wish to be sat with in the required field within the booking.

Arriving by Public Transport The museum is a 28 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, or 16 minutes from Oxford Road. There is a free bus service that also departs from Manchester Piccadilly Station and passes the museum. Manchester has a well connected Metrolink network servicing Greater Manchester to the City Centre.
